Retirement Readiness Review

The Retirement Readiness Review is the engagement we open when a salary still arrives and someone in the house can already name a year when it might end. Niran Chaiyaporn leads it from the office in Tambon Kaluwo. The household leaves with a paper note.

Three meetings and a written readiness note · About five weeks

Who it is for

Households in Narathiwat and nearby who can point to a retirement date within the next ten years: teachers, hospital staff, provincial office workers, shop families, and anyone holding a mix of a pension letter and a provident fund.

What you leave with

A written readiness note the household keeps, covering income already promised, spending already habitual, the gap between them, and a short sequence of decisions for the next twelve months.

Meetings at the office in Tambon Kaluwo. The document sitting can be held at home inside Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat when there is a table and the stairs are manageable.

Niran Chaiyaporn leads every readiness review. Malee Suthida joins the spending pages when the household wants those figures taken from a four-week notebook rather than from memory.

What the readiness note contains

  • The retirement date each person is considering, and a second date if they do not agree
  • Pension, social-security old-age benefit, and provident-fund figures copied from the papers supplied
  • A spending picture for an ordinary month and for a month with a festival or a hospital bill
  • The gap between income already promised and spending already habitual
  • Decisions for the next twelve months, each small enough to act on without a new salary
  • Questions to carry to the pension office, the fund administrator, or the bank, written in everyday language

Included

  • An opening conversation of about 40 minutes at the Kaluwo office
  • A document sitting to read the papers the household actually holds
  • A written readiness note, usually eight to twelve pages
  • A one-page picture of an ordinary month and a heavy month
  • A review meeting to walk the pages and mark what the household will do itself
  • A short follow-up letter within thirty days if one question is still open

Left outside this fee

  • Opening accounts, buying funds, or placing trades — those stay with the client’s own bank or fund office
  • Preparing a tax return
  • Drafting a will or a gift of land; we can name a lawyer in the province if that work is wanted
  • Monthly bookkeeping after the note is delivered
  • Insurance policies sold from this office

The sequence

  1. 01

    Opening conversation

Forty minutes at the office. We listen for the retirement date, who else depends on the income, and which papers already exist. There is no fee for this first conversation, and it does not reserve the rest of the review.

  2. 02

    Document sitting

About a week later, if the household wants to continue. A deposit of 6,000 baht reserves the sitting and is credited to the fee. We read the letters together and list what is missing.

  3. 03

    Writing the note

Niran drafts the readiness note away from the table, using only the papers and the spending figures supplied. The household is not asked to sit through the drafting.

  4. 04

    Review meeting

We walk the pages in order. The household marks what it will do itself. The balance of the fee is due at this meeting.

  5. 05

    Thirty-day question

If one point is still unclear after the review, we answer it in a short letter. A new topic belongs in a fresh conversation, not in the margin of the old note.

What to bring

  • The latest pension letter, social-security record, or government-pension statement
  • The latest provident-fund statement, if there is one
  • A list of cash deposits, gold kept at home, and any rented room, with no need to bring passbooks to the opening conversation
  • A rough note of what an ordinary month costs: rice, rent or the house, medicine, school fees still running, and support sent to parents

Limits of the work

  • The note follows the papers supplied. A figure the fund office has not confirmed is marked as waiting, not treated as promised.
  • We do not forecast a price for rice, medicine, or gold.
  • Two retirement dates in one house are both written down. We do not force them onto one line.
  • English is the language of the note when the household asks for it. Thai letters are read in the original and explained in the meeting.

Fee

The fee starts at 18,000 baht when the household has up to three pension or fund sources and both people, if there are two, can attend the office. A business that must be wound down, a fourth income source, or a home visit outside Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat is quoted before the document sitting.

Fees for the whole practice are set out on the fees page, including deposits and what changes a quote.
