Cookie notice
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. This site also uses your browser’s local storage for the consent choice, which works like a cookie but stays in a different part of the browser. Both are described here.
How we use them
The pages of this site — engagements, field notes, fees, and the enquiry form — load without any analytics cookie. A banner on your first visit asks you to accept or reject analytics. Rejecting does not hide pages, does not block the form, and does not change the office telephone number.
Pages, fees, and the enquiry form load without an analytics cookie. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts so the serif and coordinate lettering can load. That request sends your IP address to Google. The font request sits outside the cookies in the table below. If the request is blocked, the site still reads in your browser’s own serif.

Third parties
We do not embed advertising cookies or social-media trackers. Google may receive technical data when font files are requested, as described above. We do not receive a copy of Google’s own records.
How to manage or disable them
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can change your mind by clearing local storage and cookies for reasonripple.click and reloading the page; the banner will return. Browser settings can also block cookies entirely, or delete rr_analytics before it expires. Guidance is in the help pages of your browser.
If you disable them
The site remains usable. The enquiry form still sends to the office. We simply do not store the analytics marker, and if you reject after previously accepting, the marker is cleared. Blocking fonts changes only the look of the type, not the words.
