Cancellations and refunds

This notice covers paid sittings with Reason Ripple Financial Planning Co., Ltd.: the retirement readiness review, household cash-flow mapping, the pension and provident fund review, and the later-life income arrangement. The opening conversation has no fee and nothing to refund. The practice does not sell goods, and it does not purchase materials on a client’s behalf.

Deposits

Where a deposit is charged, it reserves a document sitting or a letter sitting and is credited to the fee. Deposit amounts are listed on the fees page and repeated in the written confirmation.

Full refund

If you cancel at least seven days before the first paid meeting, and we have not started reading your papers, the deposit and any other sum already paid are refunded in full. If we cancel the engagement, every sum you have paid for it is refunded in full.

Partial refund

If a paid meeting has already been held, that meeting is earned. The deposit is retained up to the value of the time already spent, and any unearned balance of a fee paid in advance is returned. If the written note has been started — drafting has begun from papers you left with us — the writing portion of the fee is retained and the remainder, if you had paid ahead, is returned. We will show the split in the refund note: meeting time, writing time, and the amount sent back.

Non-refundable situations

• A meeting that has already taken place.
• Writing time after the draft of your note has been started.
• A second no-show, as described below.

There is no separate charge for printed pages or folders. We do not keep a materials fee.

Rescheduling and no-shows

You may move a confirmed meeting once without a fee if you tell the office at least two working days ahead. A second move, or notice shorter than two working days, keeps the original date’s deposit as the fee for the unused time unless we can fill the hour, in which case we return it. One no-show may be rescheduled. A second no-show ends the reservation and the deposit is retained.

Work already started

Once papers are in the office and drafting has begun, cancelling stops further meetings but does not unwind the reading already done. You receive whatever pages are finished, and the refund is limited to the unearned part of the fee. A change of fact before the review meeting — for example a parent moving house — is handled inside the original fee when it alters a page already in draft. A new topic after handover is a new engagement.

Write to info@reasonripple.click or telephone 073532910. Include the name on the confirmation, the engagement, and the meeting date. We confirm the refund decision in writing.

Timing and method

Approved refunds are sent within fourteen working days to the same bank account that paid the fee. If that account is closed, we ask for another account in the same name. We do not send a refund in cash.

Exceptions

If illness or travel disruption in the province prevents you from attending and you tell us before the meeting, we treat the absence as a reschedule rather than a no-show, including a second time.
